Executive Recruitment Envision Nonprofit Consulting Tara PetersonLos Angeles, CA – Envision Consulting, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit consulting firm, is excited to announce the placement of the Executive Director for the YWCA of Glendale. Tara Peterson will start as the new Executive Director effective July 11, 2016. Ms. Peterson has a breadth of experience working with domestic violence victims, developing and implementing grant programs, providing counseling and support for low-income pregnant and parenting teens and has participated on a variety of advisory committees.

“I am excited about bringing my passion and experience to serve an organization with a rich history,” says Ms. Peterson. “The YWCA of Glendale has a strong commitment to empowering women and eliminating racism, and I look forward to bring to fruition the vision of a strong board of directors, and to develop the staff and programing necessary to make a positive and long-lasting effect on the entire community.”

Ms. Peterson obtained her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento in Ethnic Studies, and her Master’s degree in Education.
