Envision Consulting, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit consulting firm, concluded another search for the YWCA of Glendale placing Anie Aton as the new Director of Administration.
“I am delighted to offer my skills to such a wonderful organization as the YWCA of Glendale to help further their mission in our community,” says Ms. Aton. “Working with Envision Consulting was a wonderful experience and they were always available whenever I had questions.”
Ms. Aton has a breadth of experience in human resources, program administration, and managerial skills. She has managed all human resources functions, including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, personnel file maintenance, policy updates and compliance and staff planning. Previously, Ms. Anton worked for NetFreedom Pioneers as their Program Administrator/Human Resources Manager, where they defend online civil liberties in communities throughout the Middle East.
“Anie is a tremendous addition to the YWCA of Glendale team,” says new Executive Director Tara Peterson. “Her passion for our mission and extensive skill set will help us become more efficient so that our services can be 10 times more impactful in the community.”
Ms. Peterson was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times discussing her aspirations to help victims of domestic violence and prevent it from happening through education. She aims to build a stronger program at the YWCA of Glendale and continue to expand the community that they serve.
“Anie brings passion and experience, and is a great fit for the YWCA of Glendale,” says Envision Consulting Partner Allison Fuller. “We’re elated that she accepted the offer and we know she will do great things in her position and for the organization.”
Established in 1926, YWCA of Glendale has worked to improve the community by empowering women and children in the community to be independent, self-sufficient and live a violent-free life.
