Bonni Pomush, CEO of Working Wardrobes

Los Angeles, CA –Working Wardrobes, an Orange County-based nonprofit that helps people overcome challenges so they can achieve the dignity of work and “The Power of a Paycheck,” has announced its selection of Bonni Pomush as its new CEO.

Pomush, who has a master’s degree in Family Resources and Human Development from Arizona State University, worked for 15 years administering programs in government agencies before joining the nonprofit world in 2009. Among her notable successes, she has secured $6 million in capital campaign funding and $1 million annually in partnership with board members and volunteers.

“Bonni Pomush is going to be the perfect leader to continue our mission, champion our programs and partner with clients we serve," said outgoing CEO of Working Wardrobes, Jerri Rosen who is set to retire after 31 years at the helm of the organization. “She is an engaging and dynamic leader who is committed to putting her strengths to work by being of service to the community. Her research and strengths-based leadership approach has resulted in the national accreditation of centers, turning around budgets, and retaining high quality employees by creating and implementing performance-based pay systems. I have been truly impressed by her passion and energy and have full confidence that we have found the right person to lead Working Wardrobes into the future.”

Pomush, who officially begins her tenure with Working Wardrobes on November 8, 2021, will assume the full responsibilities of CEO on January 1, 2022.

The appointment of Pomush follows a thorough recruitment process overseen by Working Wardrobes Board of Directors and its Executive Team, in partnership with Envision Consulting—a minority-owned firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles, specializing in executive search, organizational strategy, merger exploration and executive leadership transitions.
