Envision Consulting, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit consulting firm, in partnership with Bolton Insurance, The Law Firm for Non-Profits and City National Bank, will launch its first-ever conference targeting entrepreneurs in the nonprofit sector on Friday November 13, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. located at the California Community Foundation on South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.

The bootcamp will offer attendees a chance to interact with nonprofit leaders and funders to learn about building a successful business and revenue strategies that will take nonprofit organizations to the next level. Attendees will benefit from two panels and four breakout sessions that will delve into social enterprise, funding strategies, managing risk, obtaining financing and legal processes and challenges.

“We’re very excited to bring this type of conference to the Los Angeles marketplace,” says Partner Matt Kamin. “Conference attendees will take away a great deal of knowledge of how to think more like an entrepreneur while running their organization so that it’s sustainable well into the future.”

Featured panelists include Mitchell Singer, Director of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors; Vera deVera, Director of Community Building Initiative and Nonprofit Sustainability for California Community Foundation; Wendy Chang, Director of the Dwight Stuart Youth Fund; Stephen A. Leach, Manager of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion for Nestle; Vivienne Lee, Regional Director of REDF; as well as, Thomas Vozzo, CEO of Homeboy Industries; Rick Nahmias, Founder and Executive Director of Food Forward; and President and CEO of Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute.

“We have amazing panelists from well-regarded organizations in the local community and nationally. We anticipate between 60-100 people in attendance,” adds Partner Allison Fuller. “With the help of the sponsors and panelists, the conference will be a huge opportunity for nonprofit leaders to gain access to innovative leaders and funders in the Los Angeles nonprofit sector.”
