2018 was a year of significant growth for Envision Consulting. We brought in a new staff member (bringing our team to seven!), introduced a supported search service line, and tons of spark and ideas to the table for how inspired leadership can impact local nonprofit organizations.

We’re proud to share some of our 2018 highlights that showcase our work building leaders and organizations that are making incredible contributions in our community:

  • 50 organizations served
    This is the core of why we do what we do. Our amazing clients fall under multiple sector types, impact many different populations, are at varied stages of growth, serve local and national communities and adopt a range of missions.
  • 360 board members surveyed
    Part of our unique process for all services, whether it's executive search or strategy, is to gather insight from key stakeholders including board members and staff. We believe strongly that all engagements must start by listening.
  • 13 diversity and inclusion events hosted
    Diversity and inclusion in the nonprofit sector will always be at the forefront of our minds. In 2018, nonprofits continued the conversation about how to build a diverse and inclusive culture, hire people with different perspectives, and build talent across organizations.
  • 1,687 applications received
    Growing organizations trust our commitment in finding the best of the best talent. This reputation starts with an application that includes multiple essay questions.
  • 137 in-person interviews conducted
    Applications, resumes and cover letters are only a couple slices of pie. We invest time and focus to meet our top candidates through in-person interviews with two of our staff for at least one hour.
  • 29 searches completed
    Although most of our searches are for Executive Directors/CEOs, we also placed Development Directors, a Chief Administrative Officer, a Chief Program Officer and more. This was possible through our finely-tuned, data-driven process.
  • 14 board/staff retreats facilitated
    We won't blindfold you or have everyone gather in a circle to sing "Kumbaya," but we will help you build a motivated team, learn critical fundraising skills, explore major issues and make decisions. And we are committed in establishing clear action steps out of every retreat.
  • 140 hours of training and facilitation delivered
    Our small and large group trainings and facilitations are offered to help you and your team learn best practices, navigate tough topics, gain insight and build capacity for your organization and the sector overall.
  • 16 plans & assessments produced
    Nothing turns us on more than big, juicy strategic challenges. We dive deep to help you find answers, prioritize options, and confidently move forward.
  • 11 coaching clients booked
    We believe that inspired leadership is the key from making good organizations become great. Whether tackling a new job, making a career transition or seeking professional growth, we offer trusted and experienced coaching to help leaders navigate challenging environments.
